This poetic collection consists of pendant- and table lamps and displays a fresh look on the ordinary objects surrounding us and questioning the definition of worthless, since they are made of (partially) recycled materials.

All the lamps contain the inside piece of a thermos flask; a double sided glass bottle with a silver coating. By heating it in an oven, the glass gets the pearly luster and the silver coating changes color from white to pink and sometimes even blue.
New Found Treasures is a collaboration between Klaas Kuiken and product designer Dieter Volkers. They both love to do research and experiment, trying to assign new function and value to their found 'treasures'.
